A Good Sunday in Incheon

It was my second time to join the Hello! Incheon program by IIRF. We departed after having lunch together in a nearby restaurant.

떡갈비 for lunch!
Ginger+cinnamon tea (I don't know its name ><)
First destination is a beautiful park in Songdo. Everyone changed their clothes into Korean traditional clothes (한복) and experienced the Korean traditional tea ceremony called 다도. There are many rules we have to keep including the formal pose in every steps of the tea making ceremony. But it was fun because we did it all together and was taught by a kind yet fun teacher. She even made a poem for us. After the tea ceremony, we went out to play 딱지 (one of Korean traditional games that I watched a lot on TV only!). We also got a chance to make 인절미 (Korean rice cake). We finished the session with some group photo shoots~

Everyone take a fast tour before changing into 한복.

Ready to pour the water into the teapot containing some green tea leaves~
Checking the temperature of the tea. It should be warm enough, not too hot, and not cooled of course~
We have to divide the tea, such that we can pour it into teacups three times in turn. It is to make sure that the tea in both cups has same temperature (to keep both of them in correct temperature).

딱지 time~~

Experiencing the 인절미 making
Next destination was Incheon Metropolitan City Museum, which was one of the filming location of the Korean drama 별에서 온 그대! We had a free tour in the museum for around 30 minutes and entered the concert hall to watch the fusion performance of Korean traditional musical instruments and some modern instruments such as trumpet, saxophone, and double bass. I have watched the performance of traditional musical instruments but it was my first time to watch fusion performance!

A big tank in front of the museum.

I think all K-drama lovers know what is this without any necessary explanation for me! ㅋ
A ticket to the music concert~~
It was a great Sunday for me because I got to experience many new things such as the tea ceremony, playing 딱지, and the fusion performance.

Thanks a lot IIRF, wish I can join more of Hello! Incheon programs and learn more things about Incheon! =)

I would like to thanks if anyone can help me find the names of each flowers below~ ^^

All the pictures below were taken on early spring this year (end of March to the beginning of April) in Inha University using my Nikon D5100 with its standard 18-55mm VR lens.
