1.15 AM: left for Yongduam (용두암).
11.25 AM: arrived at Yongduam.
Yongduam is located very close to Jeju International Airport. Here, we can see a beautiful scenery with the special figure of the dragon head-shaped black rock. I love so much the contrast between the blue color of the sea water and the black color of the rock.

2.00 PM: left Yongduam toward Mysterious Road (신비의도로).
12.25 PM: arrived at the Mysterious Road.
At the Mysterious Road, as in the picture, you will see a downhill in front of you. But, when you pour some water, instead of flowing to the downhill you see, it will come toward you - which means that the water coming uphill! It's strange, isn't it? How can water flow uphill? It's actually because the downhill you see is an optical illusion created by the terrain along the road. To prove it better, we then rode our car and went a few meters downhill, made a U-turn, and then... the car went up by itself!
Hard to believe, uh? Try it by yourself then~ ^^

The Mysterious Road

12.45 PM: left the Mysterious Road and looked for a restaurant for lunch =3
1.10 PM: rode the car without a certain destination and finally decided to have a lunch around Jeju University area (with assumption that there must be a lot of restaurants around a university, and we were hungry already, so let’s just have some simple food~). We parked our car and had a walk before decided which restaurant to go.
Final decision: eat some bibimbab – 비빔밥 (mixed rice) and tuna stew (참지찌개) at a random 밥집.

1.50 PM: left Jeju University area toward Hallim Park (한림공원).
We chose the road on the seaside so we can enjoy the beautiful sea of Jeju on our way to the next itinerary.

3.20 PM: arrived at Hyeopjae Beach parking lot.
Since we planned to go to Hyeopjae beach (협재 해수욕장) after Hallim Park, and they are located close to each other, we parked our car at Hyeopjae Beach parking lot and walked to Hallim Park.
3.30 PM: after buy the entrance ticket, we started to explore Hallim Park.
Hallim Park is very wide. We can see so many kinds of floral here, and several kinds of reptiles~ There are also two or three caves inside the Hallim Park, as well as a Folk Village. It won’t be a bad idea to visit this park ^^
6.10 PM: left Hallim Park (and supposed to go to Hyeopjae beach, but… it was raining quite heavy! ㅠㅠ)
So we skipped Hyeopjae beach and went directly to our guesthouse for check-in~ 힝!
Sopoong BnB is owned by a newlywed couple with a healthy baby boy (6 months old when we visited there). The owners are very friendly and they can speak English quite well, especially the wife. I would like to recommend this BnB if you visit Jeju. As for me, I will definitely back to this BnB on my next visit this December - I booked the room already!
For the guests, other than the bedrooms, they provides a shower room, a pantry, a living room, and a fresh view outside the house.
7.45 PM: left the guest house for dinner.
The owners guided us, we followed their car to the restaurant. It’s located quite close to the guest house, but I don’t really remember the duration it took. We had a set of Korean dishes for our dinner. The main dish is grilled tilefish (옥돔 구이), which is one of the must-try food when you visit Jeju Island.
8.25 PM: left the restaurant toward the Glass Museum (유리박물관). One of our senior recommended us to visit this museum at night – it’s more beautiful at night because all the lights are on.
8.50 PM: arrived Glass Museum, but… it’s closed already ㅠㅠ – it’s closed early because of the bad weather, it’s supposed to open the last admission until 9 PM and we can enjoy the view there – which is outdoor – until 10 PM.
We then decided to leave the Glass Museum and go back to our guesthouse, took shower, discussed the itinerary for the next day, chit-chat, and rest time! ^^
Second day:
9.30 AM: checked out and left Sopoong BnB to
Seongsan Ilchulbong (성산일출봉).
10.35 AM: arrived Seongsan Ilchulbong. It is one of UNESCO heritages, the top of the list of must-visit places in Jeju Island. Before climb up to the top, you better prepare yourself to burn some calories, and don’t forget to apply some sun cream if you don’t wish to get sun burn~ ^^

After bought the entrance ticket, and some drinks (and went to toilet ㅋㅋ), we're ready to climb the Seongsan Ilchulbong~~! It’s kind of a hill, we can climb it through the stairs. On my way to the top, I sweated a lot, but it’s really worth the calories I've burned! You can see a very good view up there, take a lot of good pictures, and forget the fatigue you've got!

Seongeup Folk Village (성읍민속마을).
1.05 PM: arrived Seongeup Folk Village area, parked the car and looked for a restaurant recommended by our senior’s family:
Sattoya (사또야). We ordered some grilled tilefish and some seafood hot pot (해물뚝배기). You should try black pork as well if you visit here. These three kinds of food are all on the list of must-have food in Jeju Island.

2.00 PM: done eating, and walked toward the folk village. We can see Jeju traditional houses here. Some of them are currently habited by the local people. There is also a temple there if I’m not mistaken.

2.30 PM: left Seongeup Folk Village area.
3.25 PM: arrived
Jeongbang Waterfalls (정방폭포). Here, you can see a waterfall which flow directly to the sea. The water was very cold when we visited there, but the color is very good. It’s a good place to relax and take some good pictures ^^

4.15 PM: left Jeongbang waterfalls.
4.45 PM: arrived at
Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls (천제연폭포). Not to be confused with Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls (천지연폭포), they are two different waterfalls with similar names. Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls covers a very wide area, it's located close to Jungmun Beach. It has a blue-color lake, three tiers of waterfalls, a well-made, big, and strongly-built bridge which is connecting two area of Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls, and a temple nearby. I like this place. It's a recommended place to spend your spare time with a good and fresh nature view~

5.55 PM: left Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls.

Jungmun Saekdal Beach (중문색달해변). We were here to play with the sea water and enjoy the sunset (I wouldn’t really recommend this place to enjoy sunset, but it’s not a bad idea to visit this beach~ ^^)

7.40 PM: left Jungmun Saekdal Beach.
7.55 PM: parked our car at an area closed by Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls, and had a walk looking for a good restaurant for dinner.
We then got into a noodle restaurant named
국수바다. We had some 고기국수 (noodle with pork), 비빔국수 (mixed cold noodle), and 멸치국수 (noodle with anchovy soup).
8.40 PM: board the car and left toward our guesthouse, which is located very closed to Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls and the noodle restaurant.
8.50 PM: arrived at the guest house –
Smurf House (스머프하우스), checked in, put our stuffs into the room, and played a while with the children there.
Smurf house has several types of room to be rented. Our room has 2 bed rooms, one shower room, and a living room joined with the kitchen~ ^^

마라도잠수함, where we can enjoy night sea view while having some coffee at a coffee shop. We decided to have coffee at the terrace of a coffee shop named
Sea & Blue (씨앤블루). I ordered red bean ice (팥빙수) shared with one of my senior~ =3

Third day:
9.45 AM: after having some breakfast (breads and fried eggs prepared by ourselves), we returned the room key, and left the guest house.

11.00 AM: on the way to Seopjikoji (섭지코지), we stopped at a beach named Shinyang Seopjikoji Beach (신양섬지코지해변) to rest for a while. But since the weather is not so good (it was very cloudy), I didn’t manage to take some good pictures. ㅠㅠ
11.10 AM: left the beach and went to Seopjikoji.
11.15 AM: arrived at Seopjikoji parking lot.
Seopjikoji was the shooting location of so many popular Korean dramas and movies, such as Gingko Bed 2, The Uprising of Lee Jae Su, Thousand Day Night, and All In (references:
Seopjikoji). The view here is very good, I enjoyed it much. ^^ Before we started to walk along the coast, we bought some grilled squid, it tasted good, you should try it, too. =3

Gimnyeong Maze Park (김녕미로공원). It is a labyrinth built using trees~ It’s quite a good place to play around. ㅋㅋ There is also a small park with a lot of different kinds of flowers. Though it’s a bit small, the flower is beautiful!

2.00 PM: left Gimnyeong Maze Park
2.05 PM: arrived at
Manjang Cave (만장굴), which can be reach by walking from Gimyeong Maze Park. It's also one of UNESCO heritage, and of course, is one of the must-visit places in Jeju Island. The cave is open for tourists, but only for about 1KM length. It takes around 50-60 mins to go in and out of the cave. It’s quite cold inside the cave, around 14-15 degree Celsius when we visit there (the temperature outside maybe around 25 and above). I enjoyed this cave, specifically, I felt amazed, maybe? ㅋㅋ

3.20 PM: left Manjang Cave.
3.30 PM: arrived
목지섬 area for lunch. We have some
boiled octopus (문어숙회), and
abalone porridge (전복죽). They tasted very good! The abalone porridge is on the list of must-try food in Jeju Island~ So, don’t miss it!

After finishing our lunch, we had a walk around the 목지섬 area. It might be very good if the weather is good. But when we visited there, the sky was totally covered by cloud, it's overcast all day ㅠㅠ. It’s even started to rain before we left this area. ㅅ.ㅅ

5.00 PM: left the 목지섬 area.
5.50 PM: arrived at Jeju International Airport, returned the car, checked in, and… shopping time! ㅋㅋ We can shop at the
duty free shop there with maximum purchase 400,000 Won per person (if I’m not mistaken).
7.40 PM – 8.45 PM: flight from Jeju to Gimpo.
